Tori & Zak got married on October 3 in the mountains of Shenadoah Valley where the wild ponies roam. Tori sought me out on instagram after her original hair and makeup team had to cancel due to unknown reasons about 2 weeks before her wedding. I am so glad she did, she could not have been sweeter to work with! We started her morning bright and early with one bridesmaid up and ready to start her beauty services while the rest of the house started to wake up. Getting ready in Boone NC was a treat because it was so relaxing watching the sun come through the trees and listening to the birds and the rest of the mountains wake up too. Tori’s bridesmaids were all so sweet and most were her childhood friends so it was so fun hearing stories of how they all met. Once it was time to get Tori ready she was so relaxed and happy, she just kept saying “this is the most relaxing day and I’m so surprised” to which I said “It’s your wedding day and you’re marrying your person, you should be relaxed”. Tori elected for a boho chignon bun with front pieces hanging down and few left out in the back with some of the bun untucked to give it a textured boho look. She kept her makeup minimal and natural with a rosy lip. Her dress was beautiful! It fit her perfectly and she looked absolutely stunning.
